Leading homeopathic healthcare provider in Ghana, End Point Homeopathic Clinic has on Monday, February 10, 2020, donated five new motorbikes to the Traditional Medicine Practice Council (TMPC), as part of its corporate social responsibility.
The clinic’s decision to support the TMPC with motorbikes is to appreciate the council’s work over the years and also to help the body carry out its work effectively and efficiently in terms of mobility.
Presenting the five motorbikes to the Council, Dr. Michael Gunney, a medical doctor at End Point Homeopathic Clinic who led the team said “the clinic is highly privileged to make such donation to TMPC. It is the duty of TMPC to sanitize the system and it is our duty as stakeholders to help them fight this battle.”
Receiving the motorbikes on the behalf of TMPC, Togbuiga Yaka IV who is the Registrar of TMPC thanked End Point Homeopathic Clinic for the kind gesture shown them.
He indicated that the council has realized there are quack practitioners in the system but there aren’t enough logistics at their disposal to help them sanitize the system.
According to him, the motorbikes presented to them by End Point Homeopathic Clinic came at the right time. As he stated, they would help them in their day to day activities.
He assured management of the clinic that the motorbikes would be used for their intended purpose. Togbuiga Yaka IV also promised that TMPC would take good care of the motorbikes and put them to good use.
He used the opportunity to appeal to other stakeholders to emulate the steps of End Point Homeopathic Clinic and come to the aid of TMPC in order for them to regulate the system effectively.
