Correspondence from Northern Region

Hundreds of NDC party supporters joined the leadership of the party in Tamale in the Northern Region to protest against the EC despite a heavy downpour in Tamale on Tuesday morning.

The demonstration, scheduled at 6 AM, started after 10 AM due to the heavy rains.

However, despite that, thousands of people still turned out for the demonstration, which is still ongoing.

The demonstrators are marching through the principal streets of Tamale and will end at the EC's Northern Regional Office, where a petition will be presented.
