Entrepreneurs must be very resourceful

Ms. Esther Cobbah, Chief Executive Officer of Stratcomm Africa, on Wednesday, advised young and upcoming entrepreneurs to be highly resourceful in order to meet the demands of Ghana’s growing economy.

She explained that, identifying a need and meeting it satisfactorily required entrepreneurs, both young and seasoned, to be skillful and filled with contemporary ideas.

Ms. Cobbah gave the advice when she delivered a paper on entrepreneurship at the just-ended “Youth Empowerment Summit”, organized by the youth ministry of the Methodist Church of Ghana at Takoradi in the Western Region.

A good entrepreneur is the one willing to serve and take calculated risks in growing a business, she said, and encouraged the youth to move out of their comfort zones to achieve greater heights.

Ms. Cobbah said the youth were the leaders of today and not tomorrow, therefore, they must be assisted towards unearthing their full potentials. Mrs. Ellen Hagan, Manager of L’aine Services Limited, advised the youth to engage in voluntarism, as a way of discovering all the aspects of the potentials God has put in them.
