Nana Kwame Minimsaah, the Publicist for Ghanaian footballer, Eric Ayiah has debunked claims that the youngster has agreed on a deal with Portuguese top flight Club, FC Porto.

Eric Ayiah, who was the Captain and the leading goal scorer for the Black Starlets of Ghana during the 2017 African Youth Championship in Gabon, is being chased by many European Clubs.

Mr Kwame Minimsaah, in an interview with the GNA Sports, said there is no contact between Eric Ayiah and officials of FC Porto, although there are numerous European clubs chasing the young striker.

“Eric Ayiah has not signed for any club yet, that rumour is untrue and I do not know the source of it. There are no negotiations or whatsoever with FC Porto, his agent and his current club, Charity FC has also refuted that claims.

“People are making those allegations because of Charity FC’s relationship with FC Porto, with regards to player transfers but there is no contact yet.

“The player is still a minor and we must be careful with his transfer dealing, it is very true that so many European clubs are interested in him, including Manchester City, Bayern Munich and others.

“But he is in camp now with the Black Starlets, who are preparing for the U-17 world Cup in India, we would deal with his transfer issues after the tournament is over in November”, said Minimsaah.

Eric Ayiah scored five goals for the Black Starlets of Ghana in the 2017 Africa Youth Championship in Gabon.
