The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has cautioned Ghanaians against being deceived into rejecting good national policies without first critically examining their benefits to the people.
A national executive of the party, Miss Sherry Ayittey who made the call at Ada-Foah referred particularly to the suspended Value Added Tax (VAT) which she said, is a very efficient way of revenue generation of rural development and providing services to the people.
Miss Ayittey said the fear of the opposition is that if the VAT succeeds, the NDC Government will accelerate its pace of development to further consolidate its position and therefore decided to deceive the people to kick against.
