Eyes on the Ground: Adjiriganor- La Bawaleshie, hours before lockdown

On a typical Sunday like this, the area would have been full of ‘boys boys’ whose cars would have decorated the streets and loud music wouldn’t have been missing in the agenda.

Call it the ‘hood’ of popular musician, Medikal. Just hours before the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s lockdown orders take effect, the place has been deserted, almost looking like a ‘ghost town’ with barely any activity.

At La Bawaleshie, it wasn't so different a situation. Though the area is not very busy, stores which usually would be open were closed and the area seemed quieter.

Here’s what www.ghanaweb’s camera’s got from a random trip to the area.
