Sunday Market, you can call it, now that was the situation at some parts of the Central Region when Ghanaweb's camera toured the area to capture the mood Sunday morning.

The Assin Andoe area was packed with people busily doing their shopping, with all sorts of goods on display, including Veronica Buckets.

That may be because they were not named as part of the areas to be affected by a partial lockdown begining Monday dawn.

Interestingly, the opposite was captured at the Assin Fosu Central business area, as the area looked deserted.

Arguably the busiest market center in Assin Fosu. Today, it looks like an area with no people. Shops are closed, even filling stations, barely any cars and it appears everyone has ‘gone into hiding’.

Ghanaweb’s cameras captured the situation as it were Sunday morning in the area.
