Ghanaweb's cameras captured the atmosphere around the Awudome-Circle area, to tell the mood in that part of the capital, some hours before the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo's orders for a partial lockdown to take effect.

There were fewer cars on the stretch, and the route around the Royal House Chapel which usually will have quite a number of people on a Sunday, had virtually nobody.

At circle, which is a usually very busy place, the place looked almost deserted also. Though there was little activity, and vehicular movement, the place was relatively free compared to a typical day at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle interchange.

Here's what the Awudome-Circle area looked like Sunday morning before the partial lockdown takes effect.
