The family of the late Akua Donkor, founder of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), has announced the funeral arrangements following her passing at the age of 83.

According to the family, the funeral rites will take place in Ejuratia, Ashanti Region, with the following schedule:

🔹 Laying in State – Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 4:00 AM to 9:00 AM at Ejuratia.

🔹 Burial Service – Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Ejuratia.

🔹 Funeral Rites – Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Ejuratia.

🔹 Thanksgiving Service – Sunday, March 30, 2025, at St. Francis Roman Catholic Church, Ejuratia, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

Akua Donkor is survived by children, grandchildren, and an extended network of loved ones.

The chief mourners include Nana Kwakye Piagye (Ejuratia Dikro), Op. Kwaku Addai (Kumasi), and Nana Brefo Kwadwan, among others.
