The family of Akua Mansah Dela, a 63-year-old trader at the Kumasi Kejetia Market, is calling for a swift investigation into her death after her body was found in a bush at Anwomaso High Tension in the Oforikrom Municipality of the Ashanti Region.

According to police investigations, the deceased had money on her and all her body parts were intact when she was found dead on Sunday, September 1, 2024.

The body has since been deposited at a morgue for autopsy.

In an interview with OTEC News reporter Kwame Agyenim Boateng on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, Nelson Abgesi, son of the deceased, expressed suspicion of foul play and urged the Ghana Police Service to conduct a thorough investigation and bring the perpetrators to justice.

Akua Mansah Dela's family is still trying to come to terms with her sudden and mysterious death.

They described her as a kind and gentle woman who was loved by those who knew her.

Her son, Nelson Abgesi, said that his mother was a hardworking trader who always put the needs of others before her needs.
