Family of the level 200 student of Koforidua Technical University who died during exams is accusing Management of the University of negligence leading to her death.

According to the bereaved family, the deceased had no Blood Pressure condition as being claimed but rather collapsed at the exams hall and was allegedly abandoned at University’s clinic without being attended to until regaining consciousness.

The family claims she was then assisted by some students while enduring to get a taxi to the hospital but died on arrival.

According to the family the negligence of duty by the university’s clinic led to the death of the deceased student, Olivia Sakyi, a level 200 of the Hospitality Department Monday, on May 13, 2019.

The family is demanding full-scale investigations into the incident.
