Fanteakwa South NDC candidate donates to schools

NDC Parliamentary candidate for Fanteakwa south, Abigail Elorm Akwambea has donated learning materials worth 6,000 cedis to the Osino and Nsutam Senior High Schools in the Eastern Region.

She believes that the items, comprising Mathematical sets, pens, pencils and rulers will contribute to the success of the candidates as they head for their final exams.

In all, 679 students will benefit from the donation with 529 coming from the Osino Senior High School and 150 from the Nsutam Senior High School. Each student will get 1 mathematical set, 2 pens, 1 pencil and 1 ruler.
Madam Abigail Elorm Akwambea believes the time has come for a shift in focus towards quality education in the constituency.

Spokesperson for the NDC candidate; Mark Okraku believes she has a bright chance of winning the Fanteakwa South seat which is currently occupied by Kofi Okyere Agyekum.
“She is really on the grounds communicating relevant issues to the people who are indeed accepting her as the beacon of hope for the area. She is also making donations which directly better the lives of the poor and vulnerable”, Mark Okraku tells rawgist.com and adds that the people are getting disappointed in the incumbent MP for his lack of good people skills and non-performance.
This is the first time a woman is contesting the seat; a situation that the Parliamentary candidate believes will also work in her favour.
