Farmer slashes rival’s male organ

Kwame Kwateng, a farmer, nearly had his male organ severed off in a confrontation with a rival at Kade at the weekend.

Kwateng was in a room of his girlfriend, Akosua Fati, 40, a trader, when Kwaku Kyei, popularly known as “fawo boto”, a farmer, and a former boyfriend of the woman, with whom he had a three –year- old daughter entered.

Angered by the presence of Kwateng in the room, Kyei picked Fati’s mobile phone and a confrontation ensued between the two. Kyei slashed the woman’s left hand with a knife but she managed to rescue her phone back.

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Fati said in a subsequent confrontation between the rivals, Kyei slashed Kwateng’s male organ seriously injuring him.

She said she shouted for help and neighbours rushed to the scene and helped her convey Kwateng to the St Dominic Hospital at Akwatia for treatment while Kyei managed to escape.

Fati explained that she stayed with Kyei for about four years and had an issue with him but owing to his “unacceptable behaviour”, she broke up with him and befriended Kwateng six months ago.

She said Kyei continued to visit her mainly at night with the excuse of visiting his daughter.

Since she was not happy with the night visits, she reported the matter to her uncles who warned Kyei against visiting late and advised that he could visit during the day or send for the daughter if he so wish.

Meanwhile, Kwateng had undergone surgery at the hospital and was responding well to treatment.**
