Nana Dokua, daughter of Nana Akufo-Addo, believes one of the virtues Ghana stands to benefit from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer if they voted for him in the 2016 elections is his honesty.

She said her father has a great sense of humour, but also a “straightforward” persona who will always stand for the truth.

Speaking in a Father’s Day message via Starr 103.5FM, Nana Dokua described her father as an “inspirer” in the “toughest of times.”

“He is always been someone I could trust. Someone I could generally rely on through the toughest of times. I admire him greatly, but his honesty is what I revere most,” the daughter of the three-time presidential candidate of the NPP said.

“It is the best lesson he is ever taught me. It is always best to be honest, speak your mind and be straightforward. Till today, I can safely say I’m still learning from the man. His sense of humour cracks me up.

“It is very dry and witty and he is one of my favourite people to laugh with. He really is one of the people who inspires me in this life to strive to be the best that I can be and to live life to the fullest.”

She added: “If I haven’t made it clear, he is simply one of my favourite people on the planet and I thank the Good Lord for him every day… I would like to wish my father Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo a happy Father’s Day every day. I love you daddy!!!”
