Feature: The Greatest Con On Earth

In the beginning God created the heaven and earth, and the earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep, and the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. [Genesis ch. 1:1-2]

God created man in his own image and breathes the breath of life into him and he became a living being. He has dominion over everything on earth or the heavens; he is the greatest the most merciful.

Please I would like you to hear me out, I know it is unheard of but if you take a close look at the world history today you will not be too hard on me. Sometimes I am inclined to believe that it is ignorance and foolish or a deliberate attempt of the rich and powerful to use religion to contain and pacify the masses for the inhumane treatment which in the past destabilized various Kingdoms and still is.

The introduction of monogamous religion especially the coming of Christ became the foundation, the security and the protection of the rich, the powerful and the most wicked blood thirsty groups and individuals. It is therefore noted in my judgement that the coming of Christ emboldens the religious aggrandizement of modern day religion. Therefore it is imperative to revisit our medium of exchange “MONEY” and the significant roll of money in our midst. In the lay man words the one who has the most money has the most sophisticated weaponry therefore the most powerful and merciful a perfect replica of God. He decides the faith of others denied them equal opportunity or gives them access to financial freedom.

History tell us that before Christ there were uprising, the poor against the rich but the Romans who rejected, tortured and put him to death saw a way out of protecting both the State and their individual wealth. They saw and read between the lines of Jesus sermons and came to a profound understanding of their kingdom come. “it will be easier for a Carmel to enter a whole of a needle than a wealthy man, ‘come unto me all yee that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest’, ‘slaves obey your masters that it may be well with you’ ‘gather not your rich on earth where worms or thieves devour but store you riches in heaven where no calamities shall befall it’.”

These words couple with others calms the tension between the poor and the rich. It became clear to the Roman Empire that Christ actually came to solidify their kingdom not the kingdom of the poor. Jesus was their friend he infiltrated the masses presented himself as the Savior of the poor while he dismantled them psychologically and physically to fortified the estates of the rich and the powerful.

If Jesus was to be for the masses he should have been in the palace and used that podium to change hearts and minds of the rich and powerful his peers to alleviate the plight and suffering of the masses not to tell us about a place anyone has no knowledge of.

Give me my comfort and pleasures of the world that I am conversant with not an illusionary world of oblivion. This was the conviction of the Great King and the most intelligent con artist King James of Scotland who saw through the Romans experience and commissioned the most talented bishops ever recorded in history to research all Godly scrolls and tablets and compiled them into a comprehensive textbook “The Bible” a constitution for his imperial state.

Therefore fellow Ghanaians go to church have a good time but don’t be quick to throw your home grown ancestral religion to the vultures “the greatest Con on Earth”. Whatever your ancestral religion is you can refine it to conform to the realities of today. Thanks for lending me your audience.
