Fidelity Bank Ghana Limited has donated a classroom block to the Ghana National Police Station, Tesano.
Regional Sales and Services Manager, Delvyn Sandison during the presentation remarked that the bank thought it wise to give “the best resource” to the Police Training School “to instill in the trainees a passion for a lifelong learning experience as our Corporate Social Responsibility to our community.”
He emphasized that “The Ghana Police Service remains a major stakeholder of ours because the personnel provides needed security to lives and property each working day we open our banking halls to the public. This year we have seen police officers been shot at and killed by civilians, we’ve also seen police officers been battered and assaulted by civilians, we commensurate and stand with you.”
“We at Fidelity Bank believe education is key in the development of any nation. Coupled with the president’s request to all Ghanaians at his inaugural speech that we shouldn’t be spectators but citizens, we decided to undertake this project to provide a conducive teaching and learning environment for both teachers and students respectively.”
