A statement issued on Monday July 22, 2019, stated that it was fair for the police to discontinue its work regarding the investigation of Mr. Charles Bissue who was the Secretary to the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining (IMCIM) and focus on the murder of its partner and the kidnapped Takoradi girls.
“Tiger Eye PI understands the police to be saying that it does not have the required evidence which is properly before the Office of the Special Prosecutor and so it is only fair that the police discontinue with its work and focus on other equally important tasks including finding the killers of Ahmed Hussein Suale, a journalist with Tiger Eye P.I., who was murdered in cold blood in January 2019 as well as the missing Takoradi girls and other seemingly cold case files. Tiger Eye P.I. assures the Ghana Police Service of its continuous support to uncover some of these crimes”, the statement said.
Ahmed Suale an undercover investigator and a key member of Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ Tiger Eye PI, a Private Investigations team was shot dead in January this year.
Ahmed was shot three times, twice in the chest and another in the neck late at Madina in Accra while he was driving home by unidentified men on a motorbike.
