The Ghana Fire Service is currently battling a fire at Tuobodom in Tema Community 12.

A post shared on social media around evening on Wedbesday, September 18, 2024, said over 100 wooden structures had been burnt beyond recognition.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, but personnel of the Ghana Fire Service were said to be at the scene to douse the flames.

The post announcing the fire said:

"HAPPENING NOW

MASSIVE FIRE AT TEMA COMMUNITY 12 TUOBODOM INVOLVING OVER 100 WOODEN STRUCTURES

9 FIRE TENDERS AT THE SCENE AS FIRE IS CURRENTLY UNDER CONTROL."
