On Thursday, December 5, 2024, a momentous occasion unfolded as Lady Julia, the esteemed wife of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, alongside the management of First Atlantic Bank and its partners, gathered to cut the sod for the much-anticipated redevelopment of the Kumasi Children's Park in Amakom.

This significant event marks the beginning of Phase 1 of the project, an inspiring collaboration between First Atlantic Bank, Nguvu Mining Limited, and other key partners, under the guidance and patronage of the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation. The initiative promises to bring new life to this cherished community space, providing a lasting legacy for future generations.

Among the distinguished guests who graced the ceremony were Nana Prof. Oheneba Boachie-Adjei Owoahene II, Otumfuo Hiahene and Board Chairman of the Otumfuo Foundation, Nana Adu Mensah Asare, Amakomhene, Odun Odunfa, Managing Director of First Atlantic Bank, Angela List, CEO of Nguvu Mining Limited, George Yaw Amoah, Board member of First Atlantic Bank, Sam Pyne, Chief Executive Officer of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), and several other prominent dignitaries.
