Opposition candidate Felix Tshisekedi, now the president-elect for the Democratic Republic of Congo visited Reverend Sam Korankye Ankrah at the Royalhouse Chapel for anointing prior to his country’s Presidential elections in January 2019.

The then opposition leader who was competing for the DRC Presidential seat attended a convention at the Royalhouse Chapel in Ghana for prayers in October last year, www.ghanaweb.com can report.

A video circulating on social media revealed, Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah, declaring Felix Tshisekedi as president for DR Congo.

“Felix Tshisekedi has come as an opposition leader battling to win an election but would be here next year (2019) as the president of the Democratic Republic of Congo,” the Royalhouse Chapel head pastor prophesied.

In the early hours of Thursday, January 10, 2019, the head of DR Congo's National Electoral Commission (Ceni), Corneille Nangaa, announced that Mr. Tshisekedi had been "provisionally declared the elected president" after he polled 7 million votes translating to 38.5% of the total vote.

This makes him the first opposition leader to win elections since DRC’s independence in 1960.

Prophecies have however become a dose in daily religious discourse, particularly prevalent amongst the Christian sect.

Amidst the challenges from the Catholic Church in DRC questioning the transparency of Mr. Tshisekedi’s victory, many may share diverse views as to whether it was indeed a true prophecy or just another obvious prediction.
