Snippets of information reaching DAILY GUIDE have indicated that three victims of the twin flood and fire disaster that rocked Accra on June 3 would be buried at separate ceremonies today, June 20, 2015.

Eighteen-year-old Mimi Agyeiwaa Danso and her friend Alberta Antwi, also 18, were reported to have gone out with other friends for a friend’s birthday when the twin disaster occurred and took away their lives. Their pictures have been circulating on social media, with people paying tribute to them.

The two bubbling young ladies were among the over 158 lives which were lost in the disaster.

Mimi’s funeral will be held at Pen Timers, Bawjiase Road, Kasoa, in the Central Region.

Emmanuel Asante Koranteng, 42, also said to be a victim of the disaster, will be buried in Accra.

He was reported to be returning home from work when he got stuck in the tragedy.

GNA reports that Emmanuel Asante Koranteng would be laid in state at Bubuashie Control, Accra, House number B672/5, which would be followed by a burial service at the Awudome Cemetary, Accra.

The report said the thanksgiving service would be held tomorrow, June 21, at the Word of Life Christian Centre, Spintex Road, Accra.

The late Koranteng left behind a wife and three children – Miss Ralitsa Asante, Emmanuel Asante and Genius Asante.
