President of the policy think tank IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe, has asked Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh to stick to his script.

After apologizing for a mistake during his inauguration, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh was caught on tape denigrating Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

He is heard in a radio interview claiming that Kwame Nkrumah chased away several chiefs during his era as president.

These comments by Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh have been met with contempt and calls for him to focus his energies on the issues facing 21st-century Ghana.

Franklin Cudjoe, in a social media post, indicated that the former Energy Minister cannot distort history to suit his personal agenda.

He said, "Well, some more partially contorted history lessons about Nkrumah from the running mate of our dear driver’s mate. NAPO must stay on message, at least on what he and his boss will do to take us out of the economic hell kitchen they got us into. Huh."
