Forikrom chief, people endorse Assemblyman

Forikrom (B/A), Aug. 11, GNA - Nana Kwaku Wiafe, Chief Fetish Priest at Forikrom and the youth in the electoral area have commended Mr James Kwabena Osei, Assembly Member for the area for his achievements and pledged to support him in his quest to contest the seat again. Nana Wiafe maintained that a second slot would enable Mr Osei to complete "unfinished projects" initiated in the various communities. The Chief Fetish Priest was interacting with about 300 youths from Forikrom, Fiaso, Boankrom, Anomatoa, Kaniago, and Ampekrom. Nyanhu-Agya, who had called on him to express their support for the Assembly Member. Nana Wiafe noted that Mr Osei brought unity, love and understanding to the various communities, adding that even though there was a chieftaincy dispute in the area, he was able to educate the people to live in peace and tranquillity.

Nana Wiafe stated that the Assembly Member co-operated well with the chiefs, unit committee members and opinion leaders in the communities for the accelerated development of the electoral area. Mr Ayiso Bormaa and Mr Solomon Kwaw, spokesmen for the youth commended the Assembly Member for regularly interacting with the people to explain government policies and programmes to them.
