REJOINDER: Chairman Asare Bediako Hasn't Said It Anywhere That He Is Going To Support Mahama
From: Chairman Asare-Bediako, Former NPP Chairman for Asokwa Constituency Date; 20th December, 2024
I have taken notice of malicious and false publications on two websites, GhanaWeb and MyNewsGH.com which have attributed baseless statements to me. These publications, both headlined "If NPP Members Are Found Guilty, We Will Support Mahama's Efforts – Chairman Asare-Bediako," are completely untrue and fabricated.
I wish to state unequivocally that I have not made any such statements, spoken to any journalist or expressed opinions on political matters since 2023. These publications are, therefore, deliberate attempts to malign my reputation and mislead the public.
I hereby call on the editors of GhanaWeb and Mynewsgh to immediately: Retract the false information attributed to me, render an unqualified public apology to me for these defamatory and malicious publications. Remove the false articles from their platforms to prevent them from being referenced in future discussions.
Thank you.
Signed: Chairman Asare-Bediako Former NPP Chairman, Asokwa
