The family of the late Justice Yao Tsar, a former Executive Director of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) on Monday called on former President John Dramani Mahama to inform him of the arrangements for his burial.
Mr. Tsar, formerly with the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) and later the National Security Council Secretariat joined EOCO as a Deputy Executive Director and was made a substantive Executive Director by President John Mahama.
He replaced Biadela Kweku Mortey Akpadzi, whose contract had elapsed after his retirement in June 2016 as the Acting Executive Director of EOCO.
He was however dismissed by President Akufo-Addo after he assumed office in January 2017.
Justice Tsar will be buried on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Tadzewu in the Volta Region.
