The French Ambassador to Ghana, His Excellency Jules Armand Aniambossou, has congratulated President-elect John Dramani Mahama on his recent electoral victory.

The ambassador shared his sentiments during a courtesy call on the President-elect, a gesture he later highlighted in a Twitter post.

“Honoured to call on President-elect, HE @JDMahama, to personally congratulate him on his remarkable election victory,” Ambassador Aniambossou tweeted on Friday, December 28, 2024.

The ambassador also referenced a congratulatory message from French President Emmanuel Macron, reiterating France’s commitment to fostering stronger ties with Ghana.

“Earlier, President @EmmanuelMacron sent his congratulations, reaffirming France’s commitment to deepening ties with Ghana. A new chapter of collaboration begins!” he added.

The visit reflects the robust and enduring diplomatic relations between Ghana and France.

Ambassador Aniambossou expressed optimism for continued collaboration, particularly in areas such as economic development, cultural exchange, and education.
