The New Patriotic Party has launched its 2012 Manifesto ahead of the December polls. The ceremony which took place at the International Press Centre in Accra saw leading members of the party in attendance.
Speaking at the launch, flagbearer of the NPP, Nana Akufo-Addo, said the NPP will restructure the economy to emphasizing the role of the Ghanaian formal and informal private sector to grow indigenous business.
He is said this is essential to creating opportunities prosperity for all Ghanaians.
“We have no other choice; if we want different results, we have to do things differently. We face a big task, but with an enthusiastic, dynamic, and competent team I hope to achieve my goals,” he said.
“We believe that once our fundamental objectives such as education are met, Ghana will move forward more easily. With a competitive workforce, nothing can stand in the way of our project. The figures might look expensive, but we can no longer continue to shun our responsibility to the youth. Teachers will play a critical role and I will lead the way to seeing that society accords teachers they deserve. The lot of teachers will be a happy one,” he said.
