Fun Milk Limited supports disaster victims

Fan Milk Limited, has donated 1,500 bottles of FanDango fruit drinks worth GH? 5,000 to National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) to support June 3 flood and fire disaster victims.

The company also donated a cheque for GH? 20,000 to NADMO for logistics and machinery the organisation would need to carry out its mandates.

Mr Jonathan Ocansey, Human Resource and Public Relations Manager, Fun Milk Limited who donated the items on behalf of the company, expressed condolences to the bereaved families.

He said the company considers every Ghanaian their patron and the donation was to give back to those who supported their business all these while.

"We believe NADMO is the right organisation to route the items through for proper distribution to those really affected by the disaster," he added.

Mrs Sarah Adinku, Director of NADMO in charge of Hydrometeorological Disasters, thanked Fan Milk Limited for the gesture.

She said the donation came at the appropriate time when most of the victims need the necessary vitamins to regain their energy and to nourish their systems.

Mrs Adinku said the drinks would be distributed to those still on admission and those that have been discharged from the various hospitals to invigorate their health.

She appealed to individuals and corporate bodies who are yet to support the good course to emulate the examples of Fan Milk and others.
