The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the introduction of a newly implemented self-posting module to recruit the first batch of degree holders (2022) from the Public Colleges of Education.

Speaking to a Ghanaweb reporter at a press briefing held on Thursday, July 4, at the institution’s headquarters, GES explained that the self-posting recruitment module has the benefit of allowing newly trained teachers to be posted to regions where language will not be a barrier.

Additionally, the module will enable teachers to select schools closer to their jurisdiction, while also enjoying associated economic support.

Qualified applicants are advised to visit the https://www.gespromotions.gov.gh portal and follow the steps to access their appointment letters.

The statement further stated, ‘successful applicants must proceed to their respective regional education directorates with their Ghana Card and other necessary documents for verification and further directives’, parts of the statement read.
