GNP Boss Defect to "God's Party"

…As 5 Regional Congresses Completed, Another 5 To Go

The chairman of the Ghana National Party(GNP), Dr. Amoa Adu, who was denounced only a couple of days ago by the Party’s leadership resurfaced at the rival New Vision Party, and is infectiously helping to multiply the numbers..

At press time the Ashanti Regional chairman of the same Party Mr. Prince had also defected and had gone ahead to contest as chairman of the New Vision Party and turned out victorious.

Last week Dr. Amoa Adu was spotted by THE SUN’s lenses at Koforidua, where a highly-placed NVP source said, played host to a meeting of minds to compare nots on organizing the flock, which he claimed decided everything in political mobilization.

THE SUN can confirm that through the ingenuity and drive of the ex-GNP chairman, the NVP has accelerated the pace for the holding of a regional Congress. Last week, Prophet Daniel Yaw Nkansah who heads the New Pentecost Vision Church in Accra trekked to the Central and Eastern regions, where he met regional executives and Party members.

Prophet Nkansah who remains a founding member of the Party was mobbed by a huge crowd of new converts, who told him they were fed up with the two prevailing extremes in the nation’s political setting of late.

The Party leader then assured them that, quite apart from easing the burden of keeping heart and soul together for everyday life, the NVP had in store a great number of areas of the economy it desires to turn around in time to make Ghana the envy of other nations.

Prophet Nkansah therefore called on the assembled Party members and sympathizers to endeavour to conduct their affairs in a peaceful manner because God who commanded that the Party be formed to liberate the suffering masses is not a God of disorder.

He assured them that in pretty no time, the Lord would garner support for the Party from all ends of the country because NVP was the only Party capable of restoring all lost hope.

Altogether five regional congresses have been completed in line with the requirements of the Electoral Commission’s dictates leaving a final five more regions to complete.

Those regions that have completed their highly-patronized congresses are Ashanti, Greater Accra, Eastern, Central and Western regions.
