The Ghana Union of Traders' Associations (GUTA) has congratulated the newly appointed Minister of Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry, Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, on her nomination for the office and her subsequent success in passing the Parliamentary Vetting process and receiving approval.

According to GUTA, her articulation, particularly of ideas in response to questions during her appearance at the confirmation hearing before the Appointment Committee of Parliament, is a testament to her in-depth knowledge of the Ministry and her qualifications for the position.

GUTA, in a statement signed by its General Secretary, Alhaji Alpha Shaban, expressed confidence in the minister's ability to excel in her role.

"We are looking forward to a meeting with her in her office to congratulate her in person, rekindle, and reaffirm the long-standing relationship between our association and the ministry. The meeting will provide an opportunity for us to interact and collaborate towards achieving the president's objective of resetting the country. With diligence, hard work, and patriotism, we believe she will excel in her duty. We wish her well, and may the Almighty God guide and guard her in her efforts at the duty post."
