The Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS) has outlined activities for its 13th Surveyors’ week celebration.
The theme for the celebration is ‘Industrialization and Wealth Creation – The Role of the Surveyor’.
The week-long programme begins on Saturday, February 17 with a blood donation exercise at the forecourt of the GhIS secretariat.
Newly qualified members of the GhIS will undergo orientation on Tuesday, February 20, 2018.
The newly qualified members will be inducted into the institution at the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences auditorium the following day, February 21.
A conference will be held at GIMPA on Thursday, February 22, to feature the presentation of papers by invited resource persons on the theme for the celebrations which will be followed with exhibitions by sponsors.
There will be a presidential ball on Saturday, February 24 at the Exotic Garden of Golden Tulip Hotel, which will feature the investiture of the new GhIS President and the induction of the new governing council members.
The week-long event will be climax on Sunday, February 25, 2018 with a thanksgiving service at the A.M.E Zion Church at Mamprobi.
