Geneva--Ghana@50-Swiss celebrations kick-off in a big bang, with official evening reception in both Bern, Swiss capital, housing the Ghana Embassy, and in Geneva, accommodating the Permanent Mission, catering mostly for the Businesses of the offices of the United Nations (UN):
According to a release, issued by the Mission and signed by the Ghana’s Ambassador to Switzerland, Mr. Kwabena Baah-Duodu, also accredited to Austria and Permanent Representative to UN offices, first official reception will take place at the Bellevue Palace, in Bern, on Tuesday, 6th March, while the Geneva reception will be held at the WHO restaurant, on Friday, 9th March, 2007.
Other activities planned jointly with a constituted Planning committee made up of Ghanaian residents; include a thanking giving service at the Ecumenical Centre of the World Council of Churches, on 11th March, 2007.
A six-day trade exhibition will be opened at “Villa” Sarasin, in Geneva from 14th-20th April, 2007, while a musical concert will be held at Palexpo, in Geneva, on 21st April, 2007.
