This is the historic picture of the miracle man of Abetifi, Kwawu -1890. Head sword bearers of Chief Addo Kwame King of Abetifi. He is wearing a spectacular head dress and is resting his arm on a drum with human sculls hanged around it. The drum is normally dipped in human blood as was the custom. Today the people use the blood of sheep. The sword has a broad blade in which strong figures of the gods have been engraved. The handle is covered in Gold Plate. He was the Gaurdian of the Chief and the Community.
