Ghana International Airlines (GIA), has reportedly been forced to cancel a flight from London to Accra.
This was after a lease company, Ryan International refused to operate the flight, demanding the payment of millions of dollars owed it by the new national carrier.
Following the cancellation of the flight, passengers in Accra and London were checked into hotels.
GIA?s vice-president in charge of public affairs, Sam Crabbe, told a local radio station that there is no crisis. He said the flight from London had been merely delayed
