Ghana Premier League clubs receive $5400 from StarTimes

The amount, which is the second trance payment to the all the 16 participating teams, adds up to the earlier $5000, bringing together $10400 received as part of the contract agreement.

StarTimes have been contracted to make $16000 to the 16 clubs after the initial amount was upped by $300.

The PRO of Accra Hearts Of Oak, Opare Addo, who confirmed to ghanaguardian.com, said the payment has come at ghe right time.

“I think the money has come at the right time and would help some of the club because we can at least use it to play two away matches”. The payment for the next trance of the remaining amount is yet to be decided.
