The 2016/2017 Ghana Premier League gets back to full gear this weekend across all league centres following the international break.
It is getting keener and exciting week after week. After beating their arch-rivals Kotoko, 1-0 in a controversial circumstance at the Accra Sports Stadium a forth night ago, Hearts of Oak will be aiming to make it two wins on the spin as they travel to play Mid-table Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park, a venue they claimed maximum points last season.
Asante Kotoko will be looking to apply some pressure on leaders, Aduana Stars when they battle it out with Inter Allies at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi with relegation candidate Ashanti Gold coming face-to-face with Bolga All Stars at the Lenclay Stadium in Obuasi.
In other premier league matches, FA Cup Holders, Bechem United will slug it out with free-flowing West African Football Academy (WAFA) at the Golden City Park whilst revived Elmina Sharks take on Sellas Tetteh's Liberty Professionals in a cagey encounter at the Nduom Sports Complex in Cape Coast on Saturday.
Elsewhere, bottom-rotted, Great Olympics will be yearning to record their first home victory of the season when they come up against Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs at the Accra Sports Stadium while Tema Youth rub shoulders with SC Medeama at the Tema Sports Stadium.
The match between league leaders, Aduana Stars and Wa All Stars has been postponed due to the former participation in a four-team WAFU competition in Dakar, Senagal this weekend. The match is expected to take place on 12th April, 2017 in Dormaa.
