Ghana Telecom holds open day

Accra, May 16, GNA - Ghana Telecommunications Company Limited (GT) on Friday organized a mini fair as part activities marking the customer appreciation week and World Telecom and Information Society Day which falls on May 17.

The fair provided the public, GT officials and their customers to interact and to view the different products and services provided by the company, and also share concerns and problems.

Some of the products and services on display included a mobile phone with television and DSTV features, easy talk, gtbiz dedicated internet service, easyfone and e-care.

Mrs. Stella Appiah-Nkansah, Chief Officer, Human Resource Management said the Week based on the theme; "Customers Are Really Everything", was also to reward customers who had kept faith with the company for a long time and some other new customers as well.

Mr. Alexander Kadje, won the first prize in the Broadband 4U internet service promotion and took home a 12 month free subscription, an Ogo phone; 100 Ghana cedis talk cards and polo shirts.

Mr Joseph Komla Bebli and Pipe Media Limited who were second and third respectively also took home nine and six months free subscription and other souvenirs

Mr. Nuhu Abubakhar a customer of GT told the GNA that he had been using Onetouch for the past four years adding that the services they provided were good and he could make emergency calls even when he did not have credit.

Another customer of the company, Mr. Julius Tetteh said he had been using the company's fixed line service for the past 20 years and commended the company for the excellent service they provided.
