President of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA), Roland Affail Monney has indicated that Ghana’s economy was gradually collapsing.
The GJA president was speaking at the Youth Day of Ceder Mountain Chapel (CMC) on Sunday in Accra under the theme, ‘Renewing youthful exuberance for kingdom service.’
According to Mr Monney, the country was facing numerous economic challenges that had made life unbearable for many Ghanaians.
He admonished the youth to take responsibility of their own lives and make use of every opportunity to serve the almighty God.
He said, “the youth of today, who are innovative, must help us to solve the country’s problems.”
Head Pastor of CMC, Rev. Dr. Stephen Y. Wengam, on his part, encouraged the youth of the Accra-based church to cultivate the habit of reading in order to prepare mentally for the 21st century job market.
The church donated some copies of a book titled: “the Trust of Leadership’ written by Gregg T. Johnson to the youth.
