Zongo Chiefs in the Manhyia South Constituency in Kumasi have been told that all the problems facing Ghana now can only be solved under a Nana Addo-led New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.

The MP for Manhyia South, Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh aka Napo, insisted that President Mahama doesn’t have the expertise and knowledge to rescue Ghana from its present quandary.

He therefore appealed to the electorate, especially those residing in the Zongo communities in the country, to vote massively for the NPP presidential and parliamentary candidates in 2016.

The NPP has promised a Zongo development fund to give a facelift to all the Zongo communities in the country.

From all indications, Napo pointed out, even if President Mahama is given hundred years to rule the country, he will not be able to improve the dwindling fortunes of the country, stressing, “Mahama can’t do it.”

Napo said fortunately Ghana has been blessed with a patriotic, hardworking, visionary and experienced person like Nana Akufo-Addo, who is ready to implement up-to-date and proper programmes to save the country.

The Manhyia South MP was addressing residents of Afia Kobi Electoral Area in the constituency during his ‘Meet Your MP’ programme.

The programme is tailored in such a way that Napo will visit all the electoral areas of his constituency to interact with the people and become acquainted with their concerns. The Afia Kobi event was massively graced by Zongo chiefs in the area.

Without mincing words, Napo attributed Ghana’s current problems to lack of visionary leadership on the part of President Mahama and his ministers, stressing that the electorate should vote the NDC out of political office in 2016.

He stated that Nana Akufo-Addo’s government would introduce effective programmes and policies to help better the lives of the citizenry, notably those in Zongo areas.

Napo sternly cautioned the electorate not to allow the ruling government to induce them with money or any material things to vote for the NDC in 2016, saying, “whatever you take in exchange for your vote cannot keep you for four years.”

He said Ghana is on the brink of collapsing; hence the need for all and sundry, notably those who have the interest of the country at heart, to vote the NPP into political power in 2016 to save the country from its difficulties.
