Reverend Professor Immanuel A. Agbozo, Leader of Ghana Evangelical Society, has noted that the leadership of the country lacks direction to govern.
Prof Agbozo said decisions of both political and religious leaders have no spiritual direction for the country, hence the need for a national life built on the word of God for success.
He was speaking at the end of a three- day festival of celebration of divine love in Accra, on the theme: “Behold I Make All Things New.”
He said the festival is a time of national acknowledgement, thanksgiving, honour and glory in worship, praise and prayer unto God for the salvation and redemption of many souls in the country.
Prof Agbozo said, “the word of God is the basis and the establishment of our life, and it behooves all and sundry to be committed to God’s word and spread it to mankind for salvation."
He said: “Our choice determines our destiny and that the acceptance of God as the supreme power will be the foundation of our new life.”
Prof Agbozo implored the youth to stand firm and be committed to the dictates of God because they are the instrument for change and the hope of a Christian nation.
He said scripture said the creator of heaven and earth is a spirit, which revealed God’s love to mankind, stressing that the beauty, joy and glory in creation is the manifestation and testimony of the creator’s love.
