International Relations expert Professor Keith Bluwey has warned that Ghana is at risk of offending the sensibilities of its western partners.
This prediction ahead of a state visit from the Iranian President.
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is scheduled to arrive in Ghana on Tuesday April 16th, for a two-day state visit.
Speaking to XYZ News, Professor Bluwey said: "We are a developing nation, our economy is unstable; not because we are producing oil so we can throw ourselves around, that would be a dangerous game to play".
The visit will give both countries the opportunity to discuss issues of mutual interest.
Professor Bluwey added that government must tread cautiously with its association with the Iranian leader.
