The presidency of Nana Akufo-Addo will remain one of the best in the political history of Ghana. This is according to the Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akomea.

Contributing his thoughts on the progress made by the NPP administration under the leadership of Nana Akufo-Addo on Joy FM, Nana Akomea posited that “Ghana is going to see a government never seen before in this Fourth Republic and clearly the signs are there for all to see”.

But this assurance by the top NPP official does not sit down well with the former Roads Minister, Alhaji Inusah Fuseini.

According to him, Ghanaians are already hungry for a change in government considering what he considers to be the hardships the four-month administration of the NPP has brought them.

Government through the Vice President, Mahamadu Bawumia has boasted of intense progress made since it took office on January 2017.

The vice president at a town hall meeting to commemorate the first 100 days of office boasted that government embarked on achieving more than one achievement since the beginning of the year.

The pronouncements by the vice president have been dismissed by ace journalist, Kwesi Pratt Jnr. who believes it could only take a “superman government to make 103 achievements in just 100 days”.

Even as debates on how best the Nana Addo administration is fairing after a hundred days in office, the quarters of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is racking its brain on who best remains qualified to lead the party come the 2020 elections.

YEN had earlier reported how the founder of the NDC, Jerry John Rawlings is allegedly thinking of having former president Mahama not contest for the position of flagbearer. So far, fire brands of the party as Alban Bagbin and Haruna Iddrisu have been shortlisted as suitable persons for the top job.
