Ghana's leading digital news and online advertising platform, GhanaWeb, was honoured with the Media Partnership Award at the 2024 Cybersecurity Awards held on Friday November 1, 2024.

This recognition underscores GhanaWeb's pivotal role in advancing cybersecurity awareness and fostering collaboration between the media industry and the Cyber Security Authority (CSA).

The award also highlights GhanaWeb's dedication to enhancing digital security discourse in Ghana and its collaborative efforts with stakeholders to promote a safer online environment.

David Antwi, Chief Executive Officer of AfricaWeb, accepted the award from the Minister of Communications, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, at the ceremony.

This accolade further reaffirms GhanaWeb's commitment to creating a secure digital landscape vital for national development and protecting citizens from cyber threats through impactful news dissemination.

Other media houses, including Business and Financial Times, Despite Media Group, Asaase Broadcasting Company, and Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, were also acknowledged at the event.
