Ghanaian striker Bernard Tekpetey donates GH¢3,000 to visually impaired woman

Ghanaian striker, Bernard Tekpetey, has donated GH¢3,000 to a visually impaired woman to aid in her activities.

The money which was donated to the woman through content creator, Nana Tea, is meant to assist the woman open a grocery store.

Nana Tea had made an earlier post about how the visually impaired lady hawks on the streets to make ends meet.

According to Tea, the woman lost her sight after the birth of her second child and that she sells candies on the streets with the help of her son.

The lady has received support from Ghanaians, including Tekpetey who offered a handout after he saw the viral video.

Nana Tea confirmed the Black Stars player's donation via a post on his Facebook wall.

"Wow, it's amazing, I have a football star who follows me. Football legend Bernard Tekpetey has sent me 3,000gh to support the visually impaired woman to get her a tabletop provision shop so she can stop moving around on the street with her Kube toffee. God richly bless you sir."

Bernard Tekpetey is one of the many Black Stars players who give back to society.

He has a foundation through which he makes donations to the less privileged.
