Ghanaian striker Godsway Donyoh has signed a two-year contract extension which will keep him at Nordsjaelland until 2019.

The 22-year-old has been handed an improve offer as a reward for his sublime performances since he joined.

Manchester City, who owned the player's economic right, reached an agreement with Nordsjælland to take the youngster on a one-year loan deal.

But the deal has been made permanent after impressing for the side.

"I am very happy to be in FC Nordsjælland, and therefore it is also a pleasure to be able to extend the contract," he told the club's website

"It is my desire to give even more to the Club. – The new contract represents a major step on the road to me, but I am not satisfied, because there is much more, I want to reach. And I will work hard."

Sports Director Carsten Jensen said: "Godsway has gone through a very positive development since he came to the FCN, in which he quite naturally needed time to get used to the concept, both physically and tactically.

"There are still plenty of development opportunities for Godsway in FCN, although in fact he already this season has stood out strongly and helped with goal and assists.

The Ghanaian has scored five goals and provided four assists in 16 Superliga matches.
