Nana Konadu Rawlings, President of 31st December (coup) Womens' Movement and wife of the Ghanaian President is reported by the Pioneer to have said at a recent rally at Berekum, Brong Ahafo that the present economic and political reforms of the P/NDC govt have greatly improved the standard of living of the ordinary Ghanaian.
Nana Rawlings asked the women to register in their numbers when the electoral register re-opens on 1 Sept 1995, adding that if they failed to register, they will be foregoing their right either to vote or be voted for.
