Ghanaians in Boston have done it Again!

Ghanaians in Boston raised $5000.00(five thousand US dollars) during their 2nd annual Kente /Lace dinner dance on July 24, 2010 and all proceeds were donated to St Anne’s Children public Library Damongo in the northern part of Ghana. This was after they had raised $3500 last year for the newly built Eastern Regional Library at Koforidua.
The Chairman of the occasion, Dr Elvis Tiburu from Northeastern University Boston MA. stressed that we should all try and give back whenever we can to help the children back home since they are the future of our country.

Donations are still being accepted.
