The Volta Regional Organiser for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Emmanuel Korsi Bodja, has implored Ghanaians to look at politics beyond partisanship, and not limit it to only the NPP and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
According to him, politics is not only related to partisanship but also a tool for development.
He, therefore, appealed to the citizenry to embrace and support development projects regardless the political party in charge of the country’s administration.
He said “politics is not just about NDC or NPP, it is about development” when speaking at his thanksgiving service at the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana in Anfoega in the North Dayi District of the Volta Region.
Mr Bodja also advised citizens to weigh policies and programmes of the various political parties and identify which fits best to the developmental agenda of the country before aligning themselves with a particular party.
He, however, indicated that the governing NPP has in place better policies and programmes to accelerate development of Ghana compared to the opposition NDC.
“We [NPP] have better policies that was why we won all the tertiary institutions and NDC won the prisons in 2016,” he added.
The NPP Volta Regional Organiser, poised to win more faithful in the Volta Region over to the elephant fraternity was grateful to God for giving him triumph in the regional executives’ elections and expressed appreciation to the church for their supporting prayers.
