Prophet Nana Mbia of Guankobea Prayer Ministry, at Teacher Mante in the Eastern Region, has called on Ghanaians to have the love and spirit of the nation in them and always endeavour to protect her image.
Prophet Nana Mbia who is also Mponuahene of Kyebi Apapam of Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Area, made the call in an interview with the Ghana News Agency after registering in the ongoing biometric voter registration exercise at Teacher Mante in the Suhum-Kraboa-Coaltar District of the Ayensuano Constituency.
He said the country had been in existence before the advent of partisan politics, and therefore Ghanaians should save her from harm by living as one family and putting aside tribal sentiments which was being used by some politicians to divide the people.
He appealed to the people in the area to peacefully and diligently take part in the registration exercise so that they would be eligible to vote in the December elections.
He congratulated the Eastern Regional Minister, Mr Victor Smith who undertook a tour of the area to familiarize himself with the problems being faced by the people, especially the havoc being created due to the delay in the completion of the new road from Dobro to Apedwa.
Prophet Nana Mbia said, the completion of the road would open up the area for investors and small-scale entrepreneurs thereby creating jobs for the youth who trooped to the big cities in search of job opportunities.
The Prophet of the Guankobea Prayer Ministry, advised the youth to shun politicians who would influence them with money to engage in multiple registration, since by doing so, they could be sent to jail and thereby ruin their future.
“When the present generation of presidents, ministers, and other high office holders are gone, you are going to be the next to take their place and therefore do not allow yourself to be deceived by politicians to engage in violence,” he stressed.
Prophet Nana Mbia advised the youth to utilize their fresh brains and energies to help develop the nation.**
